Hollowed be your name

God

Single metaphors don’t meet the word

Parent of every atom

With the love that entails

Wrapped around us

Your name seems hollowed

To make a space for us

To occupy, to stand for us

Gift us with a rule so bending that it never snaps

But regulates our core

Holds bones and bile

And forces an unregulated smile

Carry us, carrion in waiting that we are

Let us not hold on, hold back

But freely run on the right track

To freedom contained

Located in you

Bursting out all over

For ever and ever

Amen
